Jack Kiely, fresh off a strong performance at the Lowell Holiday Tournament, was an impressive 4-0 as Central Catholic finished second at the Nashoba Dual-Meet Tournament. Tom Paglliarulo was also 4-0 on the day, at 106. The Raiders (4-1) lost  in the finals to Framingham after tying Nashoba 37-37 in the semifinals but advancing on criteria.

Amari King recorded 11 kills and Hannah Walworth as well as Emily Holleran played well off the bench as PMA secured a spot in the Division 3 tourney in its final regular season match by winning 3-2 over Nashoba Regional.

Midfielder Joe Murach picked up a loose ball in his defensive zone and took off on an end-to-end rush, firing a bounce shot into the goal to give Whittier a 7-6 triple-overtime victory over Nashoba Tech. It was Murach's first goal of the season and second of his career.

With its 19-7 defeat of Nashoba, Georgetown boys lacrosse  haas qualified for the state tourney. Mike Gochakowski scored five goals, giving him 53 for the season, and Ben Warren's four-goal, three-assist effort puts him just two points away from his career season high of 78 points.

Jeremy Carney and Carlos Aquino each won their first matches of the season as Greater Lawrence beat Melrose (48-31), Nashoba (36-32) and Burlington (48-14). 

Filling a valuable scoring role, freshman Mike Gochakowski continued his strong season with a six-goal effort as part of Georgetown's 18-4 win over Nashoba. "He grew a little bit and worked hard during the off-season," said head coach Matt Bouchard. "He stepped up."

In his second varsity game, freshman Ryan Ferrant caught well and drove in a pair of runs in Greater Lawrence's 11-9 loss to Nashoba.

Kobie Green-Jackson and Matt Spurling combined for seven of Whittier's nine wins as the Wildcats bested Nashoba 76-61. Green-Jackson took the long jump, high jump and 100 and Spurling won the shot put and discus.

Pentucket spotted Nashoba a couple of power play goals before turning its game around, shutting its opponent out and dashing to a 6-2 matinee victory. Josh Silva's score with less than a minute remaining in the second period gave the Sachems the lead and all the momentum needed to win. Ryan McCarthy opened the scoring with his first varsity goal and Alex Connolly excelled all day at center of the second line, stepping up for teammates felled by illness.
