Thomas Galligani anchored the winning 200 medley relay and picked up firsts in the 200 IM  and 100 butterfly to pace Andover past Belmont in swimming 100-82 to remain unbeaten at 4-0.

Cody Soucy, Jared Carlson and Kyle Nagri each scored one goal and assisted on two others as six Salem players scored a goal on the way to a 6-3 win over Belmont.

Jillian Hughes scored the game-winner on an assist from Caroline Curtin with 7:33 remaining in overtime to lead second-seeded Andover field hockey 1-0 over 10th-seeded Belmont in the Division 1 North quarterfinals. 

Alison Murtagh won both the 200 and 500 freestyle and was on the winning 400 freestyle relay team as Andover's swim team remained unbeaten (8-0) with a 101-79 victory over Belmont.

Sean Driscoll, Matt Amedeo, Josh Driscoll and Liam Frieswick all took part in four wins as Haverhill swimming beat Belmont 103-77.

Soojin Kim scored victories in the 50 freestyle (27.04) and 100 freestyle (57.19) and swam on the winning 200 freestyle relay and 400 freestyle relay as Andover bested Belmont 101-84.

Salem's girls basketball team won its third straight game, 57-43, over Manchester Central. Emily Hickey led the way for the Bklue Devils (9-5) with four 3-pointers among her 16 points while Brenna Blakslee added 12 points.

North Andover had plenty of track highlights over the weekend. At Saturday's State Coaches Invitationals, Kyle Quinn ran a school record 1:25.31 to place third in the 600 meters. Patrick Irwin took third with a personal best 6-2 in the high jump. At Sunday's Elite Meet, the 4x800 team of Dan Marino, Chris Dalke, Jacob Johns and Zach Frahlich ran a school record 8:19.26.

Central Catholic sophomore Griffen Andesen had personal-best performances in both the 50 and 500 freestyle to highlight the Raiders' 99-82 victory over Belmont.
