HAVERHILL - All Kyle Bellemore wants to do is win, and for the past two weeks that's exactly what his Haverhill team has done.

Saturday afternoon, the senior tri-captain anchored a Hillie defense that completely swallowed up winless Malden, overcoming some offensive woes in the first half to take a 21-0 victory.

Claudia Crowe scored the first three goals of the game as Methuen whipped Malden in field hockey, 6-1.

Julia McCoy tallied 12 kills, a team-high 13 service points and six aces as Methuen topped Malden 3-0.

Lisbeth Carpio Del Rosario had the hat trick, "Turtle's" second of the season, as Lawrence field hockey blitzed Malden, 6-0.

Jackie Mothon had the hat trick, Unsung Hero Ashley Hanson added a goal and Ally Drouin made a brilliant play to save a goal as Methuen soccer dumped Malden, 4-0.

Lisbeth Carpio recorded a hat trick, Romina Tozzi had two goals, defender Emily Toala had two assists and first-year starter Gensis Dejesus recorded her first career goal and assist as Lawrence field hockey blew out Malden 7-0.

It wasn't pretty to start, but Greater Lawrence fought back to win the last two games to beat Malden 3-2. Ray Rivera had nine kills and four aces for the Reggies, who have a big matchup against Greater Lowell Thursday.

Nyah Mazzone knocked down four 3-pointers on her way to 16 points and Kayla Allbee chipped in with a game-high 17 points as Methuen downed Malden 70-46.

Methuen beat Malden 70-46 led by Kayla Allbee with 17 points and Makayla Ferullo and Nyah Mazzone with 16 each.

It all comes down to Wednesday's home game against Somerville for the Haverhill boys basketball squad if the Hillies hope to make the postseason. Needing just one more win to qualify, Haverhill (9-9) lost to Malden 65-55. Wednesday's tip is 7 p.m.
