The Amesbury girls basketball team had to hang on towards the end, but the Indians were able to outlast Manchester Essex 42-40 on Monday night. Flannery O'Connor led the team with 14 points, and Alli Napoli added 13 in the win, which improved Amesbury to 7-2 on the season.
