Michael Terranova earned a 6-0, 6-1 win at No. 1 singles to pace No. 10 North Andover to a 5-0 win at No. 7 Gloucester, in the first round of the Division 2 North sectionals.
North Andover (11-6) also received singles wins from Sherwin Yamin (6-1, 6-0) and Kyle White (6-0, 6-2). In doubles action, the teams of Andrew Smith-Alex Hammond 6-3, 5-7, 11-2) and Joey Daccord-Jonah Knopping (6-3, 6-1) were also victorious.
