Georgetown sophomore Hailey Bonia erupted for 22 points, but a basket with five seconds left gave Manchester Essex a 48-47 win over the Royals.

Notre Dame of Lawrence's Daizha Ng had the game of her career, with a best-ever 12 points as well as 5 offensive rebounds and 5 steals as the Hurricanes defeated Rockport 40-32. 

Marisa Agganis not only netted 27 points but she also added 13 steals as Georgetown girls basketball won 68-23 over Rockport. 

Notre Dame's girls hoop team seized control early and surged through the second half to a convincing 58-31 defeat of Rockport. Center Jessica Brito had a breakthrough game for the Hurricanes with 14 points, 12 rebounds and 4 blocked shots. Yaniery Martinez delivered 15 points while sophomore point guard Shanelle Bonilla added 5 points, 8 assists and 3 steals with no turnovers.

Kristin Hogan hit four 3-pointers on her way to a game-high 29 points and Taylor Nelson added nine rebounds as Georgetown clinched the Cape Ann League Division 3 title with a 58-34 victory over Manchester Essex.

Kristin Hogan knocked down five 3-pointers on her way to 18 points as Georgetown rolled over Rockport 59-31.

Kristin Hogan erupted for a season high 25 points and Marissa Agganis added a season-high 18 as Georgetown whipped Manchester Essex 61-49.

Coming off the bench, junior Jillian Madden and sophomore Fran Ventola (16 points each) had career-high efforts as part of North Andover's 65-18 crushing of Rockport.

Michaela Mello, a 5-10 sophomore center, had a double-double with 10 points and 14 rebounds, both career highs, as North Andover whipped Manchester Essex 45-23.

Lauren Hebert spent the past three games sidelined because of being sick but she was back yesterday and poured in 17 points in North Reading's 62-17 victory over Rockport. Hebert netted the only 3-pointer of the contest.  Kirsten Morrison also scored 17 points.

Kirsten Morrison and Sarah Murray each netted 12 points to lead North Reading girls basketball to a 43-37 victory over Ipswich. The win marks North Reading's third straight victory.
